What is Japanese culture?

Yes, I unashamedly put a click bait title on this. But I always have a strange feeling when being talked about the “awesomeness of Japanese culture”. Surely a farm owner in Tagawa and a salary man in Tokyo do not have the same culture, do they? Anyway! We offer a lot of cultural activities, many in partnerships with associations of Fukuoka, and two of our students could practice a bit of calligraphy at Suito last week and do some Hakata-doll painting. What was really interesting though is that the use of colour is completely different from Japanese. It really makes you think about even our vision itself is coloured (erm…) by our culture.
